Snowed in at the Villa

Image
Snowed in at the Villa Snowed in for Christmas Clean Romance Series Written by: Chelsea Hale Chelsea Hale's new Christmas romance is different from what I expected. This story has all the light-hearted feels that you get from having a reclusive billionaire snowed in with a vivacious optimist. They both have scars from past relationships but that doesn't stop the feelings from coming. I've never been a temp worker but the way Chelsea Hale describes the job makes me feel like it is something I could take part in. I know it isn't all sunshine and rainbows but I can just picture the variety in my mind. That partnered with the picturesque scenery written into this story makes it candy for my mind's eye.  Purchase on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DZXC6G8/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0

Romancing the Vet

Image
Romancing the Vet Healthcare Heroes Written by: Jen Peters Romancing the Vet is a sweet small-town romance. Set in the mountains outside Grand Junction- Jen Peters has illustrated a beautiful setting. A ranch, the mountains, and scenery that it all entails makes me want to go visit. The romance in this story ramps up quickly for my taste. They go from meeting to falling in love so fast. However, when the conflict happens- Peters does a great job of making it seem realistic. The problem doesn't just solve itself  but Jen Peters really shows the process of overcoming the issues.  That is what would make me come back and read this story again.  Purchase on Amazon:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09CK1GXRD/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0

A Princess for the Marine

Image
A Princess for the Marine A sweet romantic comedy Written by: Jess Mastorakos A Princess for the Marine was a sweet fun romance. A princess trying to forge her own path meets a marine who is trying to take care of his mother and sister. They are both determined in their path. Jess Mastorakos set up Huck's character perfectly in the previous books in the series. His determination in paying off his mom's debt comes through so clearly just the same as his goodness and kindness. This story does have some hallmark plausible deniability as Zara's bodyguards leave her alone as she stays in an unsecured location. I don't mind it though as it makes me contemplate my childhood dreams of being a princess and whether it would be all that it is cracked up to be.  I do love a great love story. From the meet cutes all the way to finding their happily ever after- this one is just as perfect as the rest! Purchase on Amazon:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DB5XFCH?ref_=dbs_m_mng_r

Love Off-Limits

Image
Love Off-Limits A Sweet Romantic Comedy Written by: Jenny Proctor Oh my goodness! This story is such a fun romantic comedy. With great characters returning to the series and fun new characters introduced- I loved this third book. Both characters go through a period of discovering themselves and finding their way to being true to themselves. I love the setting Jenny Proctor created with Stonebrook farm paired with the good old southern feel.  Jenny Proctor's books are on my must-read list. They have such quick wit and are so fun in such unique ways. Love Off-Limits adds to that in an almost completely different way than the previous two books. The comedy, romance, and fun are all there. Not only that- but she sets up the next book in a way that makes me ready to read it now and find out what happens to the new characters.  Purchase on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09J1TH1CC/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0

It Started with a Sunset

Image
It Started with a Sunset Written by: Meg Easton This sweet romance is all about opposites attract. Summer and Brock are as different as could be: families, personalities, spontaneity, and all sorts of things. Meg Easton was able to create such vivid personalities for both of these characters. I could feel the emotions of each of them- the safety in the order or the fun in the chaos. She created this place where they both could have success in the workplace while still being coworkers that interacted on a regular basis.  I am a sucker for romantic novels-especially when they are sweet and clean. This one may not have any crazy plotlines that make it stand out but it still checks off all my boxes for a great light-hearted read.  Purchase on Amazon:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09HJZ4WM6/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0

The Luckless

Image
The Luckless Second Age of Retha: Book 1 A MMORPG and LitRPG Online Adventure Written by: A.M. Sohma The Luckless is the start of a fantastic series by A.M. Sohma a.k.a. KM Shea set in the fantasical world of a video game. While I know video games may not be for some- you don't need much if any video game knowledge to become enthralled in this story. From start to end (and this series isn't all written yet) Sohma drew me in and I couldn't wait to see what happens. The humor, the ridiculousness, the imagery- it all wove together to create a fun story that has me waiting for the next in the series to come out. A little bit of romance, some self-sacrifce (without anything too dramatic), and a lot of fun makes this story what it is. I know fantasy is not some people's cup of tea but this is definitely a favorite of mine now.  Purchase on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Luckless-MMORPG-LitRPG-Online-Adventure-ebook/dp/B073VSFNKL

The Heirs of Falcon Point

Image
Heirs of Falcon Point Written by: Traci Hunter Abramson, Sian Ann Bessey, Paige Edwards, and A.L. Sowards From Austria during WWII to all over current day Europe, these authors wove a story of intrigue and suspense. While we knew who the bad guy was from the beginning, Traci Abramson, Sian Bessey, Paige Edwards, and AL Sowards worked together to make this story engaging and I couldn't put it down. The way these authors worked together made the story seamless. The beginning made me reminiscent of The Sound of Music with how the characters are escaping the Nazis who want to conscript them but with the authors' own flair. This lent the story a familiar air with answering the question, what would have happened that I never knew I needed to know. I came to love the characters-both the original Lang siblings and their current-day descendants. With the list of authors on the cover, I knew this story would be fantastic- but I was blown away with how detailed and captivating this was f

Hudson's Heart

Image
Hudson's Heart The Harvest Ranch Romance Series Written by: Stephanie Fowers Hudson's Heart is such a sweet romance. After reading all about Mimi's sister's story in a previous Harvest Ranch Romance story, I was excited to read this one. Hudson and Mimi had me emotionally invested. I connected with Hudson in how he feels so inadequate and at fault with everything in his life. This also had me so frustrated as his dad pushed so much on him. This whole story was about Hudson overcoming his own struggles with the past. Mimi and Hudson were in love before the story began- the question was if they were ever going to let the past go and find their happily ever after together.  While this was not my favorite of the Harvest Ranch Romances, it was fun to see old characters come back as well as see the set-up for future stories. There is so much they have built on and I look forward to reading about each of the characters' happily-ever-afters.  Purchase on Amazon:  https://w
