She is looking for a tribe, people she can rely on throughout her entire life while shoving away anyone who gets too close. Once she realizes that not everyone will leave her, she opens up and finds true love, along with the family she never knew she had. Jennifer Peel drew me in, connecting the emotions until I could not put it down.

Meg Easton wrote strong characters with great personalities. I loved reading about Brooke's forward thinking and spontaneity as she took charge in her relationship with Cole. While Cole is more set in his ways, Meg Easton showed how he is a perfect match for Brooke as he joins her in races in the middle of the night and flying across the country at short notice whil
