 Treasured in Turtle Bay Kailua Marines Book One Written by: Jess Mastorakos This sweet romance tells a story of growth beyond an abusive relationship and finding new love. With a honeymoon trip for one on the dockets after breaking up with her ex, Molly Whitman is starting the week off out of her strictly structured norm. This story found a sweet spot between light hearted romance and the more seriousness that comes from moving past an unhealthy relationship. I enjoyed reading this story- the devotion and protection that comes from being a military man, the love that grows from doing things together, as well as the sweet romance that comes from initial attraction. 

 Billionaire Cowboy's Secret Baby Creek Ranch Book 4 Written by: Audree Snow Originally I thought this series was going to be mostly romance but so far it has turned into a great deal of suspense with cliffhangers at the end of each portion. I can't decide if I want to wait until the rest come out to finish the series or if I am going to keep reading them one by one. The storyline has drawn me in. This book has some redemption between the family feud but at the same time the hero and heroine to be are still estranged and so far, there is no hope for reunion. There is so much left to happen that I will be impatiently waiting to see how the story will end. 

  Her Fresh Start Cowboy A Prairie Valley Romance Written by: Ellen Joy Her Fresh Start Cowboy was an enjoyable romance. With Jesse and Olivia's on and off again romance, years after the previous stories, this is a fun way to see the whole family again. Olivia and Jesse both have their hang-ups and issues that get in the way of their romance but they both also have their growth through the story. The reconciliation to marriage happened a little fast in my opinion but overall it was a nice read. 

 Billionaire Cowboy's Secret Baby Creek Ranch Book 3 Written by: Audree Snow This third installment of the Billionaire Cowboy's Secret Baby continued on with the story of the feud of Creek Ranch. While this book did not flow as well with the second book- it introduced new background and information for several of the characters and the town as a whole. I feel like I understand a little more of what is going on but there is still a lot of suspense and mystery as to what will end up happening with the small town of Creek Ranch.  This is one series I almost wish I could have waited until they all were out so that I don't have to wait until the rest of them are published to find out what happens in the story. There are so many different pieces to the puzzle that I am intrigued and invested to find out what happens. 

 The Inn at Bright Harbor A Bright Harbor Novel Written by: Holly Stevenson This chick flick was a great introduction to the new town of Bright Harbor. The characters are engaging, the town is cute and quaint, and there is so much potential for future stories. I have so much good to say about this story in particular. It was the perfect chick flick. There was some miscommunication and trust issues which the characters work through. I would have loved to see more resolution after the conflict but that was a small part of the whole picture. I loved how Faith Sunderland overcame her past insecurities to become someone ready for a relationship. All of the characters have their unique quirks and I am looking forward to them finding their happily ever afters in future books. 

 Chute Boss Lost Creek Rodeo Written by: Sophia Summers, Heather B. Moore, and Rebecca Connolly Chute Boss was an excellent sequel in the Lost Creek Rodeo series. With goodhearted, true gentleman/cowboy Reid Browning matching wits against war veteran and capitol hill's special interest leading lady, Eden Cooper, the sparks fly from beginning to end. These two characters have a catastrophic meeting followed by another traumatic incident before they are able to start to see each other's sides. The romance is sweet yet intense, the characters have depth and meaning and once again these three others have me wanting more from the Rodeo scene than I would have ever dreamed of.  Sophia Summers, Heather B. Moore, and Rebecca Connolly impress me in the way they work together to write these stories. There is a cohesiveness that is unexpected from a trio of authors and the style is so different from most of their other novels. This is a truly enjoyable read- getting me worked up in defens

  Of Sword and Shadow Written by: A.L. Sowards Of Sword and Shadow is such an intense book from start to finish. A slave girl as long as she can remember., she follows the orders of her master in political manipulations. The entire time I was reading, I couldn't stop in the middle of a scene and the scenes blended from one to another. The story gave an interesting perspective on the city of Thebes and the occupations that took place. The characters added depth and a richness to the story that made me want to go research the effects of the siege on the Greeks.  A.L. Sowards did a great job of telling this piece of the past while making it a real story. The intricacies of the people behind the scenes, creating political upheaval to disrupt the strength of the politicians in Thebes, was so skillfully done. The story was not just about a slave girl and her path to a better life, a path to freedom- it was also a story of Thebes. 

 The Harmony of Holly Shiloh Ridge Ranch in Three Rivers Romance Book 5 Written by: Liz Isaacson This sweet Christmas romance was a fun one to read. While you can get away with reading the books out of order, I strongly recommend you don't. This book features the romances and wedding of some of the other siblings so skipping ahead will cause spoilers and may cause some confusion.  I loved reading about Cactus's story- with his prickly heart and weakness for all children. To see him find his happily ever after with someone as amazing as Willa, it was refreshing and rewarding. Willa is such a great example of redemption and becoming a new person in Christ. She and Cactus are a great match that just work together. 

  Billionaire Cowboy's Secret Baby Creek Ranch Book 2 Written by: Audree Snow The second book in the Creek Ranch series adds depth and intrigue to the first. This added to the back story and introduced more than just cowboys looking for control of the whole town of Rock Creek. These two rival families take up most of the first book but now Ava Garcia comes back to town as the story concludes, leaving it as a cliff hanger. I am curious to see what happens next in this series with how part 2 ended.
