A Royal Christmas for the Marine was a fun read. The light-hearted snarkiness coming from Maya mixed with the formal manner of speaking from Theo makes for a romance that will make your heart happy. Snowed in at the Lake House  Snowed in for Christmas Romance Series Written by: Amberlee Day I don't know how the authors in this grouping of romances do it- coming up with unique reasons for each of these couples to get snowed in at unique locations. Amberlee Day added a scenic story to the mix. While the atmosphere is romantic, it is also heartbreaking as Brock is missing the big holiday with his daughter. These characters have a fun girl-next-door vibe mixed with the how did I never see you there before.   The Christmas Pact Written by: Meg Easton This sweet Christmas romance has so much feel-good within its pages. From learning to celebrate the holidays after losing a loved one to fun/silly Christmas traditions that would be a blast to do next year to finding ways to help make someone else's Christmas season brighter and more full of joy and cheer this story shows what a big part of the Christmas season should entail. I love Meg Easton's writing style. All of her stories leave me feeling satisfied with the happily ever after yet ready to read the next one on her list.  Snowed in at the Movie Set Snowed in for Christmas Clean Romance Series Written by: Erica Penrod This Snowed in for Christmas book is a fast-paced sweet romance. The relationship develops quickly and we don't get to see much of that development. We do get to see the characters personalities shine- the goodness of a man nicknamed Danger while still being a great movie star and the strong-willed side of Audrey Stratton.  Snowed in at Jingle Falls Snowed In for Christmas Clean Romance Series Written by: Kaylee Baldwin Here is yet another Snowed in for Christmas book and it is a fantastic read. Each of the authors taking part in this series have manage to come up with unique settings, plots, and characters while still falling within the guidelines of a snowed in romance. I love how each of them turn up the heat without adding explicit scenes. The romance is there and real. Harper and Nolan have a great love story that grows quickly over the course of their week. While we don't see the beginning of the story, we do get a great glimpse at the magic that happens to get their relationship off to a start. Kaylee Baldwin adds everything that this story needs to add the suspense of whether their relationship will make it- on both sides.   Romancing the Vet Healthcare Heroes Written by: Jen Peters Romancing the Vet is a sweet small-town romance. Set in the mountains outside Grand Junction- Jen Peters has illustrated a beautiful setting. A ranch, the mountains, and scenery that it all entails makes me want to go visit. The romance in this story ramps up quickly for my taste. They go from meeting to falling in love so fast. However, when the conflict happens- Peters does a great job of making it seem realistic.  Meet Me Under the Kissing Bought A Christmas Romance Collection Written by: Josi S. Kilpack, Anneka R. Walker, and Sarah L. McConkie This collection of Christmas romances was a romantic read. All three stories followed the same theme of Christmas love. They do all happen within a short time frame and the love is quick to come. The authors wove in the Christmas traditions of the time in a way that was made me want to join in the fun.  Each of these stories is unique. Sarah McConkie wrote a great feminine retelling of Dickin's A Christmas Carol. While being a classics retelling, it wasn't obvious at first. The miserly Miss Caroline had a beautiful upbringing until her mother passed away. The following years are what broke her. Her character development is so vast for such a short story. Miss Caroline's change for good was the best part of the happily ever after. 

 The Wrangling of the Wreath Christmas at Shiloh Ridge Ranch Written by: Liz Isaacson The Wrangling of the Wreath showcased Mister Glover's development from the previous books in such a fantastic way. From the beginning, you can see the difference in him and Liz Isaacson maintained that transformation throughout the whole story. Libby also has some growth but not nearly as much as Mister shows. She has a lot of insecurities and throughout the whole story, it is more about Mister can do for her rather than what they can do for each other.  I do love seeing all of the characters come back from the previous stories in the series. From Bear and Sammy to Etta- this family has so much growth and so many changes from the first book to this one. Liz Isaacson has maintained such consistency in the characters' personalities throughout the whole series that it really is one big family history.

 The Horsepower of the Holiday Christmas at Shiloh Ridge Ranch Written by: Liz Isaacson This story set in the Shiloh Ridge Ranch universe is another fun, romantic Christmas story. Almost every story in this universe has been a light, enjoyable read- and this one is no exception. Ranger and Oakley find themselves falling quickly in love but they have secrets that could come between them.  A few things I love about this story is how much Ranger is dedicated to finding the one person he wants to be with and he won't let anything stand in his way. When Oakley wants to date multiple men at once, Ranger says no thank you. He is no doormat and Oakley comes to realize how much having that one person to call your own makes a difference. While Ranger does make some mistakes along the way- every relationship has some ups and downs. These two fit so well together and the journey to their happily ever after was such an enjoyable one to read. 

 The Construction of Cheer Christmas at Shiloh Ridge Ranch Written by: Liz Isaacson This may be one of my favorites of the Christmas at Shiloh Ridge Ranch stories. Montana and Bishop work so well together and while they do have misunderstandings- none of them are overwhelmingly misunderstood or frustrating! There is a lot of back and forth between different family members and so it would be intriguing to see this whole series put into a big box set where the different scenes are lined up so that they happen in timeline order rather than book order. 

  The Secret of Santa Claus Christmas at Shiloh Ridge Ranch Written by: Liz Isaacson Caveat- this story is one of many stories within the Shiloh Ridge Ranch family. I recommend reading them in order to get the full experience as the perspective goes back and forth between not just the main characters but also other family members. The Secret of Santa Claus is definitely more focused on Christmas than the rest of the Shiloh Ridge Ranch series has been- most of it takes place within the ramp-up to the Christmas season. I enjoyed reading about the unique idea of a Santa Claus passed through the generations whose identity is secret in addition to this particular one being female. I did get frustrated with some of the situations that Holly Ann gets herself in with poor planning or planning ahead to have to break dates/ cancel last minute. I am impressed with how dedicated the Grover brothers and cousins are in maintaining that there is one girl for them and they are willing to go the di...

 The Networking of the Nativity  Christmas at Shiloh Ridge Ranch Written by: Liz Isaacson This book hit home for me in a few ways- the biggest one is that I can feel myself being lost in motherhood and that is June's biggest hang-up throughout the whole story. It is heartbreaking to me how much Judge and June go through because of her difficulties in finding balance in her life. Liz Isaacson made all of this real in this story. While all of the couples at Shiloh Ridge Ranch go through their own difficulties- quite a few pretty heartbreaking, this one I had the hardest time with. It is well written- just very hard to read. 

 The Blessing of Babies Christmas at Shiloh Ridge Ranch Written by: Liz Isaacson This short book is a intermediary book that catches you up on what is happening in Shiloh Ridge Ranch. This is one that you definitely need to read the other stories to understand what is going on otherwise you will be lost. It was fun to read from the perspectives of the different ranch wives/fiancees as well as to see so many babies be born within the family. It has me ready to read the next in the happenings of Shiloh Ridge Ranch. 

 The Harmony of Holly Shiloh Ridge Ranch in Three Rivers Romance Book 5 Written by: Liz Isaacson This sweet Christmas romance was a fun one to read. While you can get away with reading the books out of order, I strongly recommend you don't. This book features the romances and wedding of some of the other siblings so skipping ahead will cause spoilers and may cause some confusion.  I loved reading about Cactus's story- with his prickly heart and weakness for all children. To see him find his happily ever after with someone as amazing as Willa, it was refreshing and rewarding. Willa is such a great example of redemption and becoming a new person in Christ. She and Cactus are a great match that just work together. 

 Snowed in At the Archive Snowed in for Christmas Clean Romance Series: Book 4 Written by Ellie Thornton Snowed in At the Archive was a great action book combined with some adventure. ATF agent Alec and lawyer Mila combined forces to create some great sparks and take down the people who wanted to destroy Mila's town. While most of the romance happened before this book ever began, the reconciliation and overcoming of differences made the plotline sweet while the action of criminals amped up the excitement level.  This whole series has some great stories written by authors who were able to tie in the snowed in theme in unique ways that worked. While I read them out of order, that didn't matter as each story had its own characters, setting, and plot. They make me want to be snowed in with my honey for Christmas somewhere. 

  Snowed in at Silver Lake Snowed In for Christmas Clean Romance Series: Book 5 Written by: Stephanie Fowers Snowed in At Silver Lake is a surprise story in this series. With a framed murderer on the loose and a stranded heroine who keeps falling in the Silver Lake- this story has suspense and more intensity than the rest of the series but is still a unique and romantic story. As the characters are snowed in at a cabin in the middle of the wilderness near Yellowstone, they have little choice but to interact with each other and slowly fall in love. Their interactions have their perfect blend of irate and frustration mixed with sparks and slow growing feelings.  Despite the unexpected intensity and perhaps a little because of it, this story was a great read. There is some of everything that even my husband could enjoy the action. 

 Snowed in At The Cottage Snowed in for Christmas Clean Romance Series: Book 2 Written by: Catelyn Meadows Snowed in At The Cottage was an awesome Christmas story. With warmth from beginning to end- a moody hero with a tragic back story and a energetic and imaginative heroine who comes to the ranch with one purpose while leaving with a change in purpose and drive.  Catelyn Meadows is a great addition to the Snowed in for Christmas Clean Romance series. Her way of writing built such a romantic world that would be a dream to live in. With a picturesque snowy scene followed by a magical story of Santa Claus, it brings back the child-like feelings of hope , innocence and excitement for all things Christmas with all the great romantic feelings that come from a happenstance meeting with a quirky musical box. 

 Snowed In at the Castle Snowed In for Christmas: Book 1 Written by: Lucy McConnell Snowed In at the Castle is a fun start to the Snowed In for Christmas Clean Romance Series. With a beautiful and enchanting country to start with followed by a romantic castle that a snowed in bunch of travelers are privileged to stay inside. The characters are such goodhearted people who are trying to find their way in life. They come together in a chance meeting and fall in love in that once in a lifetime type of way. From the anguish of love that may never be to  happily ever after, this was one story I definitely enjoyed. 

 Secret Angel Written by: Cherry Christensen Secret Angel is a sweet and short love story. While their romance was a little disjointed and seemed to be missing some key points- it was definitely a novella that happened quickly and the two fell in love. Besides that, the story was enjoyable.
