Guard Me

Guard Me Written by: M.C. Frank This short story by M.C. Frank packs a punch full of passion and intrigue. There is so much intensity that happens in this book that at times it feels hard to follow. Frank does do a good job of keeping everything under wraps. I was left guessing all throughout and I am very intrigued to read the sequel.

Look Again

Look Again Written by: Becca Wilhite  Look Again was such a sweet romance. With two private school teachers trying to find the balance of starting a new school year and the fledgling feelings that are arising- this book has all the makings of an enemies to lovers romance with funny moments and lots of back and forth. Becca Wilhite made this such an enjoyable read. I couldn't wait to see how their feud settled. This fun romantic comedy had so many great moments.

Nash's Songbird

Nash's Songbird The Harvest Ranch Romance Series Book 23 Written by: Stephanie Fowers Nash's Songbird brings back the mess of West and the drama that he was involved in as seen in previous books. He drags in Nash and this story takes a piece of all of that drama into his romance. This story has a sweet, hometown girl, the spice of Nashville's dark side and the spark of romance. This story has more to it than just a summer romance. The shady side of the city brings an intensity that is not for a lighthearted sweet romance- instead it is more of a drama.

The Dreaming Beauty

The Dreaming Beauty Written by: Anneka R. Walker This Sleeping Beauty retelling was a fun read. It was full of mystery, intrigue, and romance. These characters had so much to learn about themselves and each other that drove the story forward. Anneka Walker really kept me guessing throughout the whole story. This was a very poignant book. The idea of dreams being windows to the soul and a source for finding peace pulled the story forward. Some of the elements of the fairytale were obvious but Walker also made fun of them which made me smile. While this may not be my favorite fairytale retelling, it was very well done.

Sugar Beach Sunsets Cliffside Point Book 3 Written by: Ellen Joy Sugar Beach Sunsets has so many exciting moments from all the different characters that we have come back from the previous books in the series. Samantha gets to find her happily ever after while mixed in with the drama of family. She gets so lost but is able to overcome her insecurities with her career along with the people from her past. Ellen Joy brings the past books to bulk this one up. Those are definitely must-reads before this one. Samantha could have used a little more limelight as this is her book but it is still as a really nice read.
