This collection of Christmas romances was a romantic read. All three stories followed the same theme of Christmas love. They do all happen within a short time frame and the love is quick to come. The authors wove in the Christmas traditions of the time in a way that was made me want to join in the fun. 

Each of these stories is unique. Sarah McConkie wrote a great feminine retelling of Dickin's A Christmas Carol. While being a classics retelling, it wasn't obvious at first. The miserly Miss Caroline had a beautiful upbringing until her mother passed away. The following years are what broke her. Her character development is so vast for such a short story. Miss Caroline's change for good was the best part of the happily ever after.

Susan Oloier created realistic characters with faults and struggles. Both of them have great personalities and the flaws enhance the story. The world they live in is comfortable and real. This story could be any of the hallmark stories just without a Christmas setting.

  Home on the Harbor Cliffside Point: Book 4 Written by: Ellen Joy The fourth book in this series has all of the characters come back with big appearances. While this may hold Harper's love story, it also holds the love story of the whole family (blood and chosen)- the love story of how these characters found each other and rely on each other. While the romance is sweet, the greater meaning comes from how these women are light to each other and can rely on each other. Reading about their struggles and will to survive makes me want to reach out to those around me so they know I have their backs and love them.  Overall- I wish I could have seen more of Harper's love story. There is so much to her back story and understanding who she is as a person that I felt a little gypped on seeing her happily ever after. To seeing the characters fall in love after they came around to enjoying each other's company. Maybe we will see more of that in the next book!

Sleep Robin Hood Outlaws: Book Three Written by: M.C. Frank Sleep Robin Hood is a fantastic continuation of the Outlaws series. With action, adventure, romance, suspense, and everything in-between this story hooked me. I can't wait for the next year to pass so I can read the next installation in this retelling. The characters have such passion and feelings that go between hope, despair, and betrayal. I don't want to say too much for fear of giving something away but this series is a well-written depiction of the tale of Robin Hood.
