Diamond Cove Romantic Comedy Series

I just finished this romantic comedy and it was gold! The awkward unbalanced of Elizabeth Mabel Matthews vs the coordinated and surfer personality of Chad Huntington makes for an opposites attract type romance. While their businesses are very different- they are both dedicated owners and will do what they can to have them succeed. I loved this contrast. There was the perfect amount of similarities which made this relationship seem like it has the potential for success while keeping enough different that there is still intrigue. 

Lucy McConnell added the secret seven in which ramped up the comedy. The conniving of their schemes and the determination of each of these retirees made me smile the whole way through.

  Home on the Harbor Cliffside Point: Book 4 Written by: Ellen Joy The fourth book in this series has all of the characters come back with big appearances. While this may hold Harper's love story, it also holds the love story of the whole family (blood and chosen)- the love story of how these characters found each other and rely on each other. While the romance is sweet, the greater meaning comes from how these women are light to each other and can rely on each other. Reading about their struggles and will to survive makes me want to reach out to those around me so they know I have their backs and love them.  Overall- I wish I could have seen more of Harper's love story. There is so much to her back story and understanding who she is as a person that I felt a little gypped on seeing her happily ever after. To seeing the characters fall in love after they came around to enjoying each other's company. Maybe we will see more of that in the next book!

Sleep Robin Hood Outlaws: Book Three Written by: M.C. Frank Sleep Robin Hood is a fantastic continuation of the Outlaws series. With action, adventure, romance, suspense, and everything in-between this story hooked me. I can't wait for the next year to pass so I can read the next installation in this retelling. The characters have such passion and feelings that go between hope, despair, and betrayal. I don't want to say too much for fear of giving something away but this series is a well-written depiction of the tale of Robin Hood.
