This New Orleans story by Melanie Jacobson was such a fun story with a back and forth romance. Supermodel Anneke is such a down-to-earth character and I loved how she put forth boundaries and showed herself as a strong female character. Jonah is another great character with his demons to battle. I loved how Melanie Jacobson wrote his character progression. While he needed to improve himself- nothing was too overwhelming and everything was very realistic- nothing happened too fast. 

This story brings out the amazingness that the city of New Orleans has to offer. I have never been there but this makes me want to go visit, try all the food and feel the city. The way the music is written into the story and the people that bring it all to life makes it a beautiful visual.

  Home on the Harbor Cliffside Point: Book 4 Written by: Ellen Joy The fourth book in this series has all of the characters come back with big appearances. While this may hold Harper's love story, it also holds the love story of the whole family (blood and chosen)- the love story of how these characters found each other and rely on each other. While the romance is sweet, the greater meaning comes from how these women are light to each other and can rely on each other. Reading about their struggles and will to survive makes me want to reach out to those around me so they know I have their backs and love them.  Overall- I wish I could have seen more of Harper's love story. There is so much to her back story and understanding who she is as a person that I felt a little gypped on seeing her happily ever after. To seeing the characters fall in love after they came around to enjoying each other's company. Maybe we will see more of that in the next book!

Sleep Robin Hood Outlaws: Book Three Written by: M.C. Frank Sleep Robin Hood is a fantastic continuation of the Outlaws series. With action, adventure, romance, suspense, and everything in-between this story hooked me. I can't wait for the next year to pass so I can read the next installation in this retelling. The characters have such passion and feelings that go between hope, despair, and betrayal. I don't want to say too much for fear of giving something away but this series is a well-written depiction of the tale of Robin Hood.
