 An Accidental Romance

This sweet romance had quite the whirlwind of events. From a broken ankle keeping Miss Rebecca from London to an unexpected marriage (not her own) that led to exciting events- this story goes all over the place. The slow build of romance was fun to see in the beginning as the couple's interactions were not purposeful but incidental. As the story continued, it seemed to drag for a bit and I couldn't help but skim some of the not as important details and conversations. It took me a while to get through the middle part of the book. Once the climax occurred, it all happened quickly and drew me back in. This story was a fun one-time read but I don't know that I would go back and read it again. The characters were fantastic and wholesome and the plot was solid but I just had a hard time connecting with the story as a whole.

  Home on the Harbor Cliffside Point: Book 4 Written by: Ellen Joy The fourth book in this series has all of the characters come back with big appearances. While this may hold Harper's love story, it also holds the love story of the whole family (blood and chosen)- the love story of how these characters found each other and rely on each other. While the romance is sweet, the greater meaning comes from how these women are light to each other and can rely on each other. Reading about their struggles and will to survive makes me want to reach out to those around me so they know I have their backs and love them.  Overall- I wish I could have seen more of Harper's love story. There is so much to her back story and understanding who she is as a person that I felt a little gypped on seeing her happily ever after. To seeing the characters fall in love after they came around to enjoying each other's company. Maybe we will see more of that in the next book!

Sleep Robin Hood Outlaws: Book Three Written by: M.C. Frank Sleep Robin Hood is a fantastic continuation of the Outlaws series. With action, adventure, romance, suspense, and everything in-between this story hooked me. I can't wait for the next year to pass so I can read the next installation in this retelling. The characters have such passion and feelings that go between hope, despair, and betrayal. I don't want to say too much for fear of giving something away but this series is a well-written depiction of the tale of Robin Hood.
