Looking for Love (Sort of)

This love story takes me back to high school and the fun that happened there. While not a teenage romance (quite the contrary in fact), it is takes place at a high school reunion. Chloe and Josh both had high school crushes that never came to fruition. In fact, they never thought a romance between the two of them was a possibility until they ran into each other at their reunion. Because of the nature of this story, the romance happens within just a few days. Many authors can make this feel rushed, but with how Meg Easton has set up the characters' background, the whole thing had a smooth transition. This novella was the prefect length with the story that the author has told. I loved the opening scene with Chloe showing up to her home care job to find a bird playing hide and seek which ends up in her getting glitter all over. As are all of Meg's books, this one is fun, light-hearted and definitely has the laughter part of the collection in here.

I was left wondering throughout the story whether they they were going to get their happily ever after! There was romance, suspense, and the amazing Saint Squad. Any story with the Saint Squad is full of laughter and adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end.

 How to Kiss Your Enemy Written by: Jenny Proctor Oh my goodness this story was adorable! I love the enemies to lover trope and this one had all the makings of it. Mix in a little introspection and growth for the characters and this story brought all the feelings. I knew where Tatum Elliot was coming from and felt a strong connection to her character development throughout the story. This book made me smile from the chemistry between the characters and seeing all the old characters come back. I bet I will find myself re-reading this story soon!
