It was so fun returning to the Bright Harbor universe with A Bright New Beginning. The characters all came back and we were able to get to know them better. This story focused on the love story of Charly and Nick while intermingling the perspectives of the other characters all throughout. 

I love how Holly Stevenson balances out the secondary love stories and relationships with the main ones. As Charly thinks there is no hope for a relationship with Nick, she tries to move on. However, when she finds there is a possibility, she is respectful of the relationship she is currently in. I do want to see Charly's old boyfriend find his happily ever after. Holly does such a good job of making you relate to the characters and become interested in all of the secondary characters and their future happily ever afters. 

The whole setting of Bright Harbor is dream-worthy. The ocean nearby with beautiful beaches and the small town atmosphere just makes this town a place I want to visit.

  Home on the Harbor Cliffside Point: Book 4 Written by: Ellen Joy The fourth book in this series has all of the characters come back with big appearances. While this may hold Harper's love story, it also holds the love story of the whole family (blood and chosen)- the love story of how these characters found each other and rely on each other. While the romance is sweet, the greater meaning comes from how these women are light to each other and can rely on each other. Reading about their struggles and will to survive makes me want to reach out to those around me so they know I have their backs and love them.  Overall- I wish I could have seen more of Harper's love story. There is so much to her back story and understanding who she is as a person that I felt a little gypped on seeing her happily ever after. To seeing the characters fall in love after they came around to enjoying each other's company. Maybe we will see more of that in the next book!

Sleep Robin Hood Outlaws: Book Three Written by: M.C. Frank Sleep Robin Hood is a fantastic continuation of the Outlaws series. With action, adventure, romance, suspense, and everything in-between this story hooked me. I can't wait for the next year to pass so I can read the next installation in this retelling. The characters have such passion and feelings that go between hope, despair, and betrayal. I don't want to say too much for fear of giving something away but this series is a well-written depiction of the tale of Robin Hood.
