Of Grace and Chocolate

Of Grace and Chocolate

Written by: Krista Lynne Jensen

Krista Lynne Jensen tells the story of Jillian Parrish has fought her way beyond a traumatic past. With a job for a publishing company, an apartment of her own, and a place within her church, predictability is her life until her sister shows up with a bundle that changes things for good. As Jillian struggles to find a new normal and move past the drama that her sister stirred up, a face from one of her favorite memories of her past, Scott Gentry keeps showing up. Can Jillian find her way past her demons to open her heart and let love and healing through?

This story deals with some heavy topics. Between drug use, death, and adoption, Jillian Parrish is dealing with a lot and Krista Jensen tastefully writes this story in a way that shows a way to move past struggles with grace and hope- a little bit of chocolate doesn't hurt either. The characters in this story have real flaws but they are able to move past them, communicate and create a meaningful relationship that is more than just a romance. Nothing is hidden in this story. The nitty gritty parts that make a relationship hard work are shown and that makes this story a deeper, more thought-provoking book.
