Running From Fate is a unique shapeshifter story told of a woman who rejects tradition due to tragedy and fights the draw of the man who bring her back to the fold. The story pulls in the reader from start to finish, wanting to know how Avery takes the place of Alpha and finds her one true love.

 Maragret Todd wrote a beautiful story that pulls in the reader despite overtly formal language and more telling than showing. The story races along with the beauty of Canada and the allure of fantasy. Maragret created a world that seems real. "I arrived at the water to admire the beauty the place had about it. It was almost as it was out of amagical story it was so beautiful...I investigated the area mesmerized but its beauty... It was just so beautiful and peaceful here. I almost didn't want to leave."

Traci Hunter Abramson set up such a great premise to this story with all of the Saint Squad novels leading up to this one. With Sienna and Craig's wedding along with all of the political hoopla going on, this story does not rest. Traci writes such great suspense! I was left wondering throughout the story whether they they were going to get their happily ever after! There was romance, suspense, and the amazing Saint Squad. Any story with the Saint Squad is full of laughter and adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end.
