Artists and Billionaires

Artists and Billionaires Box Set Clean Billionaire Romance Written by: Lorin Grace This set of six stories was a fantastic read. These six roommates are either 'cursed' or 'blessed' with falling in love with billionaires. Each of their stories is unique with difference perspectives of the fine arts world. From photography to digital recreation, painting to stained glass, and graphic design the roommates have diverse interests. The stories travel from New York to Haiti and cover topics such as cancer and sexual assault. Lorin Grace created a wonderful world that I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in. The difficult topics were covered tastefully while being supportive. I couldn't review just one story here, the whole set was worth a great read.

Rash and Rationality

Rash and Rationality Happily Ever Austen Written by: Ellen Mint Rash and Rationality is a quick romance. With a great story that takes place in the walls of a bookstore, many book lovers hearts will swoon. It does have a few scenes that are sexually explicit and only a few swear words. Outside of that the story is a best friends to lovers success.

Show Me A Marriage of Convenience

Show Me a Marriage of Convenience Cowboy Crossing Written by: Alexa Verde Show Me a Marriage of Convenience was a quick sweet read. With characters who knew each other for years that never saw each other as more than friends until circumstances prompted marriage. Heather is a relatable character who is a little overweight and self-conscious about her appearance. Kade Clark, on the other hand, had his son to worry about and was finding his way back into their small town home. While a little more shallow of a story, this one was perfect for a lighter read without much drama.

June's Forever

June's Forever Lost in Little River: Book 4 Written by: Ranee S. Clark June St. Clair is a sweetheart with a fiery personality. With a strong business sense that has made her a billionaire businesswoman, she can tackle anything- that includes finding a new husband. Ranee Clark created a story that has me as the reader routing for June to find her second half of forever. The characters are well-developed and I loved reading about their path to their future together. Wyatt Call is just as great a character as June St. Clair. This story about these two of them written in the world of Little River created a little more longing to enter the world that Ranee Clark made. This little town in Wyoming is a place of happiness and belonging. A place every romantic would want to join.

Engaging Mr. Darcy

Engaging Mr. Darcy An Austen Inspired Romantic Comedy Written by: Rachel John Engaging Mr. Darcy is a light-hearted retelling of Pride and Prejudice. Rachel John creates several characters who emulate the identifying characters of the original novel while managing to make it a contemporary tale that is realistic to the current days. Great banter, tense moments, misjudgment, and humbling moments make this story a great read. While it is hard to match the prowess of the original, Rachel John has done a great job of creating a book inspired by Jane Austen.

The Royal's Fake Bride

Image
The Royal's Fake Bride The Gentlemen of Magnolia Bay Written by: Brenna Jacobs The Royal's Fake Bride takes misconceptions and hard feelings from the past and turns them on their side. Theo Clarke's best friend has a younger sister and as she joins them in Magnolia Bay their feelings start to grow. I loved reading this third story in The Gentlemen of Magnolia Bay series. As the pair teamed up to defy their nemesis and make their dreams happen, the relationship grew in such a sweet way. It was great to have a greater insight into Theo Clarke as the first two books only gave a slight overview into his personality. So far every book by Brenna Jacob has been a book I have loved. The characters are witty and refreshing while each story or series has its own unique setting. This one demonstrates it just as well as the rest.

Austen, Edited

Austen, Edited A Best Friend, Next Door Romance (Love, Austen Book 5) Written by: Britney M. Mills Austen, Edited is a sweet romance. Abby Price pulled on my heart-strings as she is abandoned by all who should love and take of her when Greyson Campbell enters her life again. She is a character I relate well with and the emotions felt real. While the conflict and romance made for a great story, it was also an easy read that I couldn't wait to finish. While this is book 5 in the series, it was a perfect stand-alone book that gave hints to the stories that come before. Britney Mills wrote a great story that took me away in a world that I enjoyed.
